Out of hours provision

As part of The Grange Experience, the Junior School offers a full day of care and activities for pupils, a facility greatly appreciated by parents.

From 7.30am, Earlybirds spring into action. Children attend the early morning club until 8.30am during which time a light breakfast is available. Activities are usually fairly quiet with board games being the most popular choice in this session.

At the end of school, children have the opportunity to attend Sundowners. Exciting activities and games take place in many areas of the school and as well as the regular team, led by Mrs Rachel Sims, a number of students from the senior school assist at Sundowners as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award. It is both a challenging and rewarding experience for them.

The club is a safe, supervised environment with a relaxed atmosphere where the importance of fun is the main element. Many enjoyable activities and games take place including creativity in art and craft, sport, dance, drama, team games and competitions.  We are also able to facilitate homework, revision and reading in the library area.

Light refreshments are available throughout the session.
