Admissions

The Grange School admits most of its pupils at the ages of 4, 11 or 16.  When there are vacancies at other ages we are delighted to receive applications for consideration.

In recent years the quality of the school’s results at all levels has been such that some prospective parents have assumed that their children need to be near-geniuses to get a place! That is not the case.

We hope to offer places to children who love learning and who are committed to making the most of their talents, but who will also achieve the pace and expectations which the school sets.  In addition we are looking for pupils who wish to give a whole-hearted commitment to the school’s extra-curricular life.

Entry at all ages is based on performance in a series of assessments or tests, full details of which can be found in the section of this site entitled How to Apply’.  The school’s Admissions Policy can also be read or downloaded along with the Bursaies and Scholarships available.
