Christmas Fair - Best Yet! |
|
The Grange School Parents’ Association’s Christmas Fair was “even better than last year’s fair” according to many of the hundreds of people who attended the event.
With twenty four stalls selling a wide variety of beautiful gifts, a raffle with more than forty prizes, as well as the ever-popular homemade cakes stall, toiletries, toys and books, there was plenty on offer to get everyone’s Christmas shopping well underway.
The children were kept entertained with a bouncy castle, bungee run, candy floss, make and take stalls, bran tubs, hairspray and tattoos and, of course, Santa’s Grotto where there was a professional photographer to record the moment they met the man himself.
The Fair took a record £11,200 of which £8,700 was profit for the School, which is a reflection of everyone’s hard work (in particular, thanks to Mags Savage for whom the organisation of the Christmas Fair began sometime last summer!)
Together with the £1,200 raised from the “Design your own Christmas card project”, this brings the total funds raised for the School this term to £9,900.
