Rowing Club Ball

The Rowing Club recently held its annual Ball at the beautiful Cranage Hall. 226 pupils, parents and coaches joined Head of Rowing, Graham Jump to celebrate all the achievements of the previous season. Awards were presented to mark various accomplishments both on and off the water and the MJ17 squad along with single sculler Katy Jacques presented a cheque for £2245:00 to coach, Rachel Cope for The Lowe Syndrome Trust a condition which sadly took the life of her brother earlier this year. They raised the money through a non-stop sponsored row over 31 miles.
