Despite a small drop in the number of top A Level grades across the country, Sixth Form students at The Grange have once again bucked the national trend…and in spectacular fashion! Results have hit yet another high, confirming the school’s position as one of the very best performing schools in the whole of the UK. 95% of all grades awarded gained a B grade or better, with 77% of the total entry rated at either A or A*. No fewer than 56 of the 86 students achieved 3 A grades or better, with 9 earning at least 3 grades at A*. Results in the Extended Project Qualification (the merits of which have received much attention in the press in recent days) were just as impressive: 93% of projects gaining an A* qualification.
Headmaster Chris Jeffery was quick to pay tribute to the hard work, ability and commitment of his students and of the teachers who inspired and motivated them to such success:
“These wonderful results will stand them in very good stead for the future, as they represent, for the vast majority, achievement beyond their measured potential and the fruits of developed habits of hard work, self belief and self regulation. We are delighted to unleash our students upon the world and know that they will thrive in it!”
