This year’s celebration marked something of a changing of the guard with our new Head, Mrs Debbie Leonard, taking the stage in place of the now departed Mr Chris Jeffery. Mrs Leonard used her inaugural Prizegiving address to speak about the value of small margins that add up to large gains.
The evening was punctuated with a number of magnificent musical and dramatic performances from our talented pupils including our newly crowned Musician of the Year, Jonathan Owen, demonstrating his virtuosity on the drums, and a welcome reprise of a number from last year’s marvellous school production of ‘Joseph and his Technicolour Dream Coat’.
The Day Cup was presented to the Grange School Parents Association in recognition of the fabulous work that they do in support of the school.
The event is, of course, mainly about celebrating the achievements of our pupils from Kindergarten to Upper Sixth – and what amazing achievements they are – always hard won and very often beyond all expectation.
