Over 250 of our own pupils voluntarily gave of their time to showcase their school, helping in various departments from making leaf kebabs in Outdoor Learning to creating 3D reindeer's in Design and Technology; from watching scenes from a recent school production as the children moved among the corridors to discovering more about the Junior School Curriculum Award, which Prep 6 embarked on this Term; from experimenting with Bunsen burners in our state-of-the-art Science laboratory, to making bird feeders in Kindergarten.
There was a constant buzz in the school throughout the morning. Parents could be found in the European café where pupils were serving freshly baked pastries and fruit salad for breakfast, followed by tapas for lunch, or watching the many sporting activities, from racing on the ergos to playing football and netball in the Sports Hall.
Mr Rands, Head of the Junior School, addressed the visiting families with the school's vision and outlined the key benefits of an independent education at 4+ which derive from the values we share as a community, the quality of relationships between pupils and staff, and the willingness to allow each member of our community to flourish as an individual.
We welcome and encourage you to come back and see us on a normal school day or visit us for the first time for a personal visit.
