Membership of the GSPA is automatic for all Grange School parents and we are always keen to welcome new members, either to join the committee or just to help in the running of a specific event (or events). Any time and effort that you can offer is gratefully received and you will have fun and make new friends in the process.
Currently, we run one main event each term: the Christmas Fair at the Senior School on the first Saturday in December; the black tie Spring Ball in April/ May; and the Summer Fete at the Junior School in June.
By helping out with the GSPA's fundraising events, you will play a crucial role in helping to provide our children with the all-important ‘added extras' - and you'll have a good time too!
Through its fundraising projects, the GSPA makes annual donations to the school in the region of £10,000, with funding allocated to the Junior and Senior Schools in alternate years. Amounts raised over and above this figure are put towards a major project or projects following consultation with both Headmasters.
Whilst our fundraising is highly valued by the school, perhaps more important is the opportunity for parents to get together on a social level. The GSPA meets on the second Wednesday of each term at the Senior School and does not charge a membership fee.
