Our outstanding facilities across the Junior and Senior School, along with high quality teaching and our supportive environment, enable our young people to realise their potential.

We are delighted to announce that planning consent has been granted for a new 2500 square metre Sports Centre. Construction work will begin on the£6m scheme in July, 2017 with the new exciting facilities fully completed for September 2018.

The new Grange Sports Centre will provide a high level facility including premier netball, badminton, football, and basketball courts. Other facilities will include an area tailored for activities such as yoga, dance, gymnastics and aerobics, a dedicated area for rowing machines and free weights, an external climbing wall and bespoke classroom facilities. As part of the build there will also be a new multi-use games area for sports such as netball and tennis, which will be fully floodlit and laid with a high performance surface. New changing and catering facilities have been incorporated into the design which will further enhance the user-experience.

We believe that sport and exercise is a very important part of the holistic education that we provide, and this is backed up by an array of impressive sporting facilities already available at The Grange. Extensive and beautifully maintained playing fields; an impressive Sports Pavilion; a recently built Sports Hall at the Junior School; AstroTurf sports pitches and tennis courts are just some of the facilities available. At the nearby River Weaver the school also boasts a bespoke boathouse whilst a new Senior School sports centre is on the horizon.

Our Sixth Form Centre provides a state of the art base for students to think, communicate, learn and occasionally relax! The purpose built centre accommodates over 200 Sixth Form students providing a café (serving fresh coffee and croissants!), common room, quiet work rooms, classrooms and seminar rooms, and a dedicated careers area. Standing in an enclosed area of the Grange Senior School site, the new facility provides a strong sense of Sixth Form identity whilst remaining an integral part of the wider school.

The Performing Arts form a vital part of life at our school. Our inspiring 350 seat theatre provides the perfect venue for our excellent productions and musical performances whilst a number of drama studios provide an ideal space for day to day teaching and learning. We also boast bespoke music rooms in both the Junior and Senior schools which are fully equipped with the instruments and IT facilities necessary for learning and composition.

Other highlights include a number of fully equipped science labs at the Junior School which allow for the subject to be taught effectively from an early age; provision for every Sixth Form art student to have their own, personal, studio space in which to create; a spacious and well stocked Library; interactive whiteboards in many classrooms to support cutting edge teaching and learning; high bandwidth Wi-Fi across both sites to ensure that we move seamlessly into the future… and, of course, it would be remiss of us not to mention the excellent standard of food available at our Junior, Senior and Sixth Form cafeterias!
